I received my B.S. in Special Education from Buffalo State College. My certification areas include: Students with Disabilities, Early Childhood and Childhood Education from Birth - 6th Grade. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Learning and Instruction through the University at Buffalo with a concentration in literacy. I reside in Lockport with my husband and four children (1DeSales graduate and 3 current DeSales students). I believe that an early childhood rich in experience and play develops the whole child and paves the way to future academic success. I look forward to days full of play and learning in preschool!

I have worked in the preschool programs here at DeSales for the past four years and have my Teacher's Aide Diploma through Penn Foster Career School.
I live in Middleport with my husband and our two children; our daughter is entering 7th grade this year and our son is a sophomore at NCCC.
If I could offer you one piece of advice it would be this: Encourage your child to be independent and allow them to experiment and explore. Sometimes it is just easier or faster to do something for them, rather than let your child do it. Let them try and praise their efforts no matter the outcome and watch them blossom!
